I am Megan Fitzpatrick, a.k.a. @1snugthejoiner. I’m a woodworker, the publisher and editor at Rude Mechanicals Press, editor of the Early American Industries Association’s quarterly journal, The Chronicle, and a freelance editor for Lost Art Press and Mortise & Tenon Magazine. I am short one dissertation of a Ph.D. in English literature (focused on early modern drama), and am a former editor of Popular Woodworking Magazine. You’ll often find me building furniture alongside another former PWM editor, Christopher Schwarz, at the Lost Art Press shop.
In addition to woodworking (inquiries about which are welcome), teaching woodworking, writing about woodworking and editing other people’s writing about woodworking (all of which you can read about here from time to time), I’m in the midst of restoring a 1906 home in the Northside neighborhood of Cincinnati … and living in it amidst the chaos.
Contact me at email@example.com for freelance editing, woodworking classes and custom furniture/tool chest inquiries.
OK!!!Lets get started!!!!
How was the Four Roses Small Batch? I have not tried it, but I enjoy trying different types.
Tasty; highly recommended.
Great that the potential buyers are coming back-a good omen.
Megan, I tried your email link in Popular Woodworking but couldn’t make it work. I hope you won’t mind my telling you about a book I wrote about a process I call Curved Joinery. I don’t want to use up your reply section with a synopsis. Is there a way I can send you one?
Sure — you can email me at Megan.firstname.lastname@example.org.
